Director of Fundraising

The Director of Fundraising is a strategic and results-oriented leader responsible for developing and carrying out an overall fundraising strategy to support the mission and goals of the Del Sur Elementary Foundation. This individual will have a significant role in building donor relationships, messaging over summer breaks to obtain sponsorships, coordination with the Director of Events for sponsor promotion at school events and working with the Foundation for long-term fiscal stability of Del Sur Elementary School. Fundraising Director works in cooperation with the Foundation's Board of Directors and school officials, parents, and community members.

Develop and Implement Fund-Raising Strategies

Develop and implement yearly and strategic fund-raising strategies in line with the Foundation's strategic goals, including defining funding priorities and establishing measurable goals.

Coordination with Events Director

Coordinate with Events Director to promote sponsors at various school campaigns and events. Help to facilitate sponsor participation in said events, as appropriate.

Fundraising Management and Reporting

Coordinate the fundraising budget tracker, track fundraising progress, review results, and provide regular reports to the Board of Directors, update sponsor contact information.

Sponsor Cultivation

Recruit, build, and cultivate donor relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, community organizations, and alumni to achieve maximum philanthropy. Solicitation of current and prospective sponsors through email, cell and telephone for funding.

Marketing and Communications

Collaborate with the Communications Director to produce effective fundraising materials, including brochures, website content, social media, and appeal letters when necessary.
