
Director of Communications

The Director of Communications primarily focuses on utilizing our web and social media presence to advance the goals of the Del Sur Educational Foundation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with loads of creative energy, excellent organizational skills, and a team-oriented philosophy.
General Marketing
Markets school events, general announcements, fundraisers, and sponsor interests through social media channels and website. Reports on school and Foundation accomplishments for community benefit.
Maintain Online Fundraising Portal
Maintains fundraising campaign data and formatting on Givebutter, the Foundation’s payment processing service.
Board Participation
Works with all Foundation members to meet common goals. Participates in monthly meetings with Foundation and members of school leadership.
Maintain Website
Maintains calendar, event pages, fundraising data, and payment processing application on Foundation website. This requires knowledge of, or willingness to learn how to manage, Wix websites.
Content creation
Candidate should be social media literate and proficient in web-based graphic design and formatting, using your preferred software. Software assistance is available.
