The Del Sur Educational Foundation (DSEF) is a parent-led, 100% volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of students at Del Sur Elementary School. With the support of the community, we fund various programs and initiatives to ensure a well-rounded education for all students.

"Quest for More" is our annual fundraising drive! We ask families to contribute a convenient, one-time donation or smaller monthly donations to help fund all the essential staff, programs, and benefits provided during the current school year.

We also have a new raffle opportunity for families who have donated the full asking amount! You can win one of THREE reserved parking spaces in our lot for an entire trimester! Participating families are automatically entered in every drawing.

Del Sur Elementary School (DSES) is formally recognized for excellence across the board:

According to US News and World Report's school rankings, DSES is the #1 elementary school in Poway Unified School District and #96 out of over 8,000 elementary schools in the state of California. This puts us in the top 1% of elementary schools in the state.

DSES also boasts an A+ grade and top 1% ranking among public elementary schools in the state of California by Niche.com, a market leader in connecting colleges and schools with students and families. The rankings are based on reviews from students and families, as well as attendance, test scores, and graduation rates from the US Department of Education.

The Educational Results Partnership (ERP) has also included DSES in their 2024 Honor Roll, which is part of the national Campaign for Business and Education Excellence.

Honor Roll schools and districts represent those that were comprehensively higher performing on the CAASPP Assessments and that are improving outcomes for historically underserved student populations.
